Odor Treatment

  • Dry-steam deodorization technique was used to neutralize odors of the duct (flow rate of 2 780 m3/h) of an oil and fishmeal production plant in the Cantabire region of Spain together with our partner Biolfactive. The plant recovers, mostly in the morning, residues, waste (carcasses, heads, viceroys, etc.) as well as unsold fish and shellfish. This new raw material is used to extract and to manufacture oil and fishmeal using two different production lines. The finished product is used in fish farming, in cosmetics or to manufacture food supplements.
  • Our engineering solution for neutralization of olfactory nuisances consists in installation of a VS200 cabinet feeding 1 bi-fluid nozzle in order to treat continuously the stale air flow of the plant. This installation only requires an electrical supply and offers a great autonomy of treatment with little maintenance. The dry steam technology also makes it possible to avoid the risk of freezing and winterization. The installation is controlled by a clock in order to run the treatment only when the activity of the plant generates odors and thus to protect the residents and the surrounding plants from olfactory nuisances which can be released.
