Site: Waste management platform for the treatment of non-hazardous waste.
Issue:
When the door to the household waste reception and storage hall is open (due to truck traffic), odors escape from the building.
Odor treatment:
To address the odor nuisances from the reception and storage hall for household waste, we have implemented the following treatment:
Dry-steam treatment of the main hall:
Installation of a VS200 P dry-steam unit (with 1 nozzle) equipped with an air pump and a 16,450 m³/h fan to treat odors escaping from the building during truck traffic. Our odor-neutralizing reagent is vaporized at a very low flow rate (about 40 ml/h) in gas form. In order to treat odors at source (building) before dispersion (to the surrounding area), the fan is placed directly next to the door.
