Site: Animal carcass meat residue recycling plant in Spain
In partnership with our distributor in Spain, BIOLFACTIVE, we have equipped a plant that converts meat residues into proteins and fats to produce animal feed, fertilizers and biofuels.
Odor treatment Implemented:
To control unpleasant odors from part of the process, we have implemented a dry-steam technique treatment. This method involves the ultra-fine vaporization (in gas form) of a low-flow odor neutralizer. Particle size is very important, as the finer the steam, the greater the contact surface between the product and the stale air. This greatly increases efficiency.
Engineering consists of 1 VS200 P dry-steam cabinet (2 nozzles). The first nozzle is installed before the gas scrubber. The 2nd nozzle is placed after the gas scrubber and before the thermal oxidizer.
The odor-neutralizing reagent used is a water-free reagent specifically designed to treat the odors encountered.
It is vaporized at a low flow rate (60 ml/h/nozzle), operating 24/7.
