Site: Composting platform in the Netherlands
In partnership with our distributor in the Netherlands, DUTCH ECO BLUE, we have equipped a composting platform in the Netherlands.
The various process buildings (sludge storage, screening, fermentation, etc.) are connected to an air suction network for physico-chemical treatment. At the exit of the treatment tower, the treated air is dispersed by a chimney (height: 85 meters).
Despite the physico-chemical scrubbing process, residual odors remain.
Odor treatment implemented:
To address these odor nuisances, we have implemented a dry-steam technique treatment. This method involves the very fine vaporization (in gas form) of an odor neutralizer at a very low flow rate (between 40 and 80 ml/h).
Engineering consists of 1 VS200 P cabinet (1 nozzle). The nozzle is installed upstream of the chimney extractor. This ensures ideal mixing between our product and the polluted air to be treated.
The aim of this treatment is to reduce the odor units still present despite the physico-chemical treatment, in order to control odor impact on nearby local residents.
