Plastic waste recovery plant in Spain

Site: In partnership with our exclusive distributor in Spain, BIOLFACTIVE, we have installed an odor treatment system at the “La Red de Veolia” site in Seville (Andalusia).

The site is dedicated to plastics recycling (industrial, post-consumer and agricultural). It is capable of processing 120,000 tons of plastic waste per year.

Odor treatment :

To address the odor nuisances resulting from the various stages of the production process, we have implemented a dry-steam treatment system.
The idea is to vaporize an adapted odor neutralizer at a low flow rates to treat odors in a semi-open building (covered at the top and open at the sides).
Our odor-neutralizing reagent is a patented, water-free reagent specially designed to treat on-site odors. It is sprayed at low flow rates (80 ml/hr/nozzle).

Engineering consists of :

• 2 VS200 P dry-steam cabinets (2 nozzles)
• 4 x 6,700 m3/h fans

The fans are mounted on 316 stainless steel frames, so as to direct the diffusion of our odor neutralizer in all directions.
