Site: Chemical industrial site in the Netherlands, incorporating a starch roasting process that may generate odor emissions.
To limit odor nuisance associated with process emissions, we implemented a dry-steam odor treatment solution directly on a process chimney. An odor-neutralizing agent is sprayed at a low flow rate directly into the gas stream to neutralize odors and reduce the odor impact of the emissions.
The system is interlocked with the chimney fan: injection of the odor-neutralizing agent is automatically triggered when the fan is running, ensuring treatment is adapted to the operating conditions of the process.
Targeted treatment of emissions, odor reduction, and reduction of odor nuisance.
