Site: Green waste collection, treatment and recovery facility in the Hauts-de-France region, France
Facility dedicated to the collection, treatment and recovery of green waste, plant matter, wood and tree stumps, with composting activities. The site has two process water storage basins.
We implemented a high-pressure spraying odor treatment system.
Two 316L stainless steel spray lines (85 m and 78 m) diffuse a low-concentration odor-neutralizing agent. The spray lines operate alternately depending on wind direction, creating an anti-odor barrier between the storage basins and neighboring villages.
The system operates 7 days a week, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., with control based on data from a weather station.
The goal is to limit the spread of odors towards residential areas and reduce odor nuisance for nearby residents.
