Site: Plant for recycling meat residues from dead animals in Spain
In partnership with our distributor in Spain, BIOLFACTIVE, we have equipped a plant that converts meat residues into proteins and fats to produce animal feed, fertilizers and biofuels.
Odor treatment implemented:
In order to control the odor nuisance of part of the process, we have implemented a dry steam treatment technique. The engineering consists of 1 VS200 P dry-steam cabinet (2 nozzles). The first nozzle is installed before the gas scrubber. The second nozzle is installed after the gas scrubber and before the thermal oxidizer.
The odor-neutralizing reagent used is a water-free reagent specially designed to treat the odors encountered. It is sprayed at a low flow rate (60 ml/hr/nozzle) continuously, 24/7.
